The question is, why? “It’s a great mystery, and we really don’t know what’s causing it,” said George Howard, chair of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Health’s Department of Biostatics. “I’m fond of saying, ‘We all know what causes it. The facility is slated to be completed by Thanksgiving and open by the end of November.
