J. Keith Thompson, D.O., a vascular and endovascular surgeon at Hattiesburg Clinic, has authored articles to be published in the March edition of "Annals of Vascular Surgery" and the April edition of "Journal of Vascular Surgery". The articles describe a treatment for thoracic aortic injuries that was developed in part by Dr. Thompson and has since been used for the minimally invasive treatment of aortic trauma.

Dr. Thompson has also had articles published recently by "The Journal of Vascular Surgery" on topics including treatment of complicated aortic disease and thrombolytic or "clot buster" therapy.

Dr. Thompson received his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
