Singing River Hospital System recently honored two employees who were selected as July Employees of the Month. Jennifer Bartlett, RN, Three East, was chosen as Ocean Springs Hospital's Employee of the Month. Tammy Harris, System Communications Manager, was named Singing River Hospital's Employee of the Month.

Bartlett is native of Davenport, Iowa and received her associate's degree in nursing from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. While in nursing school, she worked as a Nurse Tech on Three East and later worked as an RN on the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Unit at SRH. She has been working on Three East at Ocean Springs Hospital since last August.

Harris is a Biloxi native and a graduate of D'Iberville High School. She began working in the telecommunications field as an office manager for ST&T Inc. In 1999, she began her career with the Hospital System, working as a Customer Service Representative before becoming Manager of the department.
